Job Summary

The Wellness Associate is a vital member of our team at The Mansions at Alpharetta, providing exceptional care and support to our residents. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can maintain a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
  • Maintain awareness of each resident's physical and mental health, reporting any changes to the Wellness Director.
  • Manage medical supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Develop and maintain assignments for the Wellness Director.
  • Assist with shift coverage and on-boarding of new Wellness Associates.
  • Respond to resident emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Assist residents with maintaining a clean and orderly living space.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Requirements:
  • Current State Nurse's Aide registration preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with seniors and passion for providing exceptional care.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Miscellaneous:
  • May be required to work weekends and holidays as assigned.
  • May be required to work extended hours (up to 16 hours per day).
  • Subject to exposure to infectious waste and diseases.
  • Background, criminal, and drug tests may be required.
