Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Electrophysiology Clinical Nurse to join our team at Ascension. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients with cardiac devices, ensuring optimal health outcomes through attentive monitoring and support.

Responsibilities

As an Electrophysiology Clinical Nurse, you will:

  • Deliver direct nursing care following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Develop and oversee patient care plans, ensuring they are effectively implemented.
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, communicating changes as necessary.
  • Act as the primary coordinator among various healthcare disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders with precision.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and plan for patient discharge needs.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • One of the following is required:
    • Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a current multi-state license obtained prior to hire.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in electrophysiology is preferred. Candidates should possess the ability to troubleshoot independently and navigate multiple electronic systems effectively.
