About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Audiologist to join our supportive school team near Lafayette, Louisiana.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough hearing screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students to identify potential auditory challenges.
  • Develop and implement personalized auditory management plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to address hearing-related challenges in the classroom.
  • Provide expert training and guidance to school staff on using auditory equipment and accommodations effectively.
  • Support students who use hearing aids, FM systems, and other assistive devices to ensure they receive the best possible education.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of advanced auditory assessment tools and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required.
