Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead our fleet maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of practical experience in truck and tractor-trailer maintenance, along with excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor less experienced technicians in performing major and minor repairs on fleet diesel equipment, including tractors and trailers.
- Complete preventative maintenance, conduct diagnostics, and ensure all vehicles are in proper operating condition.
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
- Adjust and replace brakes, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a safe and efficient food distribution system.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED or Equivalent Experience.
- 5-7 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
