We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Access Representative Supervisor to join our team at Monmouth Medical Center - Southern Campus. As a key member of our Patient Access Department, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating registration and admissions, ensuring accurate and timely financial clearance of inpatient hospital accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate registration and admissions, obtaining pertinent demographic information and accurate insurance information.
  • Perform inpatient authorizations to financially clear inpatient hospital accounts.
  • Work closely with nursing and ancillary departments to foster a team environment and ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and POS collections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the education and training of new hires and registration staff.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Medical insurance verification and authorization experience preferred.
  • Patient Access experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, computer skills, and certifications in relevant areas.
