Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Cybersecurity Policies: Create and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls based on industry standards, such as NIST 800-53 and NIST.
  • Conduct Regular Audits and Assessments: Perform regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and identify security vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT and Compliance Teams: Work closely with IT and compliance teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities and implement cybersecurity measures.
  • Monitor and Analyze Security Logs: Monitor and analyze security logs to identify and respond to security incidents.
  • Work with Contractors: Collaborate with contractors to implement cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Cybersecurity Threats: Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to ensure our organization remains secure.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance.
  • Expertise: Expertise in NIST 800-53, NIST, CMM, Nash I3, Firewall, Cyber Security Model, Linux, Splunk, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with contractors and other external partners.
  • Security Clearance: Must have Security Clearance or ability to obtain Security Clearance.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
