Job Title: Behavior Support Specialist

Salary: $14.35-$17.00/hr

About the Job: We are seeking caring and motivated individuals to support individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and other emotional, behavioral, and medical complexities. As a Behavior Support Specialist, you will create connections, support sensory needs, maintain a structured environment, build trusting relationships, coach and support people who may exhibit aggressive behaviors, provide personal care and hygiene assistance, mentor/teach, and go on community outings.

Requirements: Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disabilities, mental health disabilities, and/or co-occurring diagnosis. Valid High school diploma or accredited GED. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Dependable vehicle. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 lbs or 1⁄4 of own body weight, whichever is less.
