We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Penn State Health Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy Clinic in State College, PA.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that will involve working with a diverse patient population, including pre-operative, non-operative, and post-operative patients with peripheral joint injuries, acute and chronic orthopedic conditions, and spine dysfunction.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and goals
- Collaborate with sports medicine orthopedic and non-operative primary care providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and research in orthopedic physical therapy
- Master's degree in physical therapy from a CAPTE-certified program
- Current licensure as a physical therapist in Pennsylvania (or eligibility)
- At least 3 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, preferably with a focus on manual treatment techniques
- Athletic Training Certification (ATC) is preferred but not required
