Position Summary:

The Construction Site Manager oversees the on-site construction activities within the designated community, ensuring the delivery of high-quality homes that meet deadlines and budgetary constraints. This role is pivotal in maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and providing outstanding customer service to homeowners. Additionally, the manager is responsible for implementing the job site safety program and ensuring adherence to all relevant safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor costs and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, maintaining adherence to company safety standards and all applicable safety and environmental laws.
  • Oversee various construction phases to guarantee timely and budget-friendly delivery of quality homes.
  • Exhibit mastery of construction skills and techniques to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve issues, enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Gain foundational knowledge of Land Development and its implications for homebuilding.
  • Work closely with Divisional Leadership Teams as needed, demonstrating an understanding of various job functions across departments.
  • Assist in identifying, retaining, and effectively managing subcontractors in collaboration with your supervisor.
  • Report any construction, customer service, or safety concerns to leadership, providing suggestions for resolution.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in residential construction is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word) and construction management software.
  • A valid and active driver's license is required, with a motor vehicle record check as part of the background verification process.
