About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our thoracic surgery team at the University of Maryland Medical System. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
  2. Collaborate with attending physicians to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in thoracic surgery.

Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
