Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and administration of medications, including sterile compounding and hazardous chemical handling
  • Work with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Coordinate equipment and supplies to ensure efficient and safe medication preparation
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of rules and regulations specific to sterile extemporaneous compounding

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a WA Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program
  • Current Washington State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
  • Experience in IV sterile compounding, both hazardous and non-hazardous
  • Hospital experience preferred
