Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our Pharmacy Department, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patients and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pharmacy environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.


Requirements:


  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
