About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Office Coordinator to join our team at Kahuku Medical Center. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support to our dental services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming Patients: Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our dental services.
  • Patient Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments, confirm patient information, and coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Financial Transactions: Process patient payments, manage insurance claims, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Office Administration: Perform various administrative tasks, including mail sorting, supply management, and data entry.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a dental office or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix Ascend), and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting, occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds, and ability to navigate our facilities.
Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $18.15 per hour.
