Vision Care Specialist for Veterans

We are seeking a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to conduct comprehensive eye exams for U.S. Veterans in a part-time, non-treating role with MRG Exams.
About the OpportunityThis flexible position allows you to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare of Veterans while enjoying a part-time commitment of one day per week. As an independent contractor, you will have autonomy in your work and the ability to focus on assessments, rather than treatment or determination responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Review medical records through a secure web portal to prepare for eye exams
- Conduct thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT)
- Complete and submit evaluation forms within 24 hours of the exam via the web portal

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist with proficiency in Visual Field Testing (VFT) and the ability to meet the VA's requirements. You should also possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication abilities.
Salary EstimateWe estimate the salary range for this opportunity to be between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This estimate is based on national averages for Optometrists and Ophthalmologists in the United States.
