About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team at Stamford Health. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations for a variety of patient populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and under the direction of a radiologist.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of a formal ultrasound training program or equivalent training program as specified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Certification by the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) is preferred.
  • Knowledge or understanding of RIS and PACS computer systems is preferred.
