Job Title: Instructor, Patient Access Specialist

Tri C Company Inc is seeking a highly skilled Instructor, Patient Access Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Health Industry Solutions department, you will be responsible for teaching a comprehensive range of skills and knowledge to students in our Comprehensive Patient Access Specialist program.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, leading classroom activities, and evaluating student performance. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records, identify areas for improvement, and provide students with timely feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in the Comprehensive Patient Access Specialist program
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the approved curriculum
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience
Requirements:
  • Associate degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Patient Access Specialist or Patient Service Representative in a hospital setting
  • CHAA or CHAM certification
  • Approved proctor through NAHAM
  • Prior classroom instruction and/or training experience in healthcare
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated experience with online instruction
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Active membership in the National Association of Healthcare Access Management
Work Environment:

The work is performed in a normal, professional office or technical lab environment. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type.
