Overview
The Production Assembler plays a vital role in our manufacturing operations, tasked with the assembly and completion of products, either partially or fully, while working on the production floor or at designated workstations.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a tidy and secure work environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to assemble complete products or individual components
• Rotate through various tasks related to specific production processes
• Perform quality checks on products and components
• Prepare finished goods for distribution
• Position and assemble parts in accordance with technical drawings
• Execute secondary operations as necessary, including hand or ultrasonic cleaning and sandblasting
• Work to precise tolerances on detailed small assembly tasks
• Utilize measuring instruments and adhere to both written and verbal instructions
• Ensure compliance with all quality standards in manufacturing
Essential Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience and training
• Mechanical aptitude with prior experience in a manufacturing setting or related field
• Familiarity with assembly tools and machinery
• Experience in quality assurance is advantageous
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorization to work in the United States is required
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
• Engaged in a manufacturing/production environment, involving movement within the facility
• Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
• While performing job duties, the employee is expected to sit, stand, walk, handle objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively
• Required to wear safety glasses and utilize other safety gear as mandated while on the production floor.
