Position Overview

As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the surgical team, assisting in various capacities before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing the operating room and ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are ready for use.
  • Assisting surgeons and nurses in maintaining sterile conditions throughout the procedure.
  • Managing surgical tools and equipment during operations.
  • Cleaning and organizing the operating room post-surgery.
  • Transporting patients to and from the surgical area.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
  • National certification in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience in trauma settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior travel experience is advantageous but not required.
