Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily accounting tasks as assigned.
  • Prepare and review reconciliations, reports, and budgets for precision and thoroughness.

- Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring prompt and accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
- Create journal entries.
- Monitor and reconcile fixed asset transactions, understanding capitalization and expensing rules.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits and tax submissions.

- Collaborate with the finance team to establish and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
  • Analyze financial data to uncover trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support financial leadership in planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting personnel.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA or EA certification is required.

- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a robust background in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with GAAP accounting.
  • Experience in healthcare finance or private equity is advantageous.
  • Proficient in accounting software and financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • High standards of integrity and ethics.
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and revenue cycle management is beneficial.
