Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality radiographs, ensuring accurate diagnoses and patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient experience.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Manage and maintain radiology supplies inventory, ensuring timely ordering and receipt of necessary materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance technical knowledge and skills, staying current with industry advancements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures, positioning them correctly and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff, practicing radiation protection techniques and using beam restrictive devices.
  • Document patient care services, charting in patient and department records to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Associate degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school or two years of experience in a directly related area.
  • Valid state Radiologic Technologist license.
  • RSO Certification is a plus.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Computed Tomography Certification.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
  • Trauma, fluoroscopy, and surgery experience preferred.
  • Clean background check and clean drug screen.
