Job Title: Sales Associate

Are you passionate about serving others and providing excellent customer service? Do you have a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at Dickerson Transportation Group.

Job Summary:

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and healthy work environment. You will also assist in replenishing and rotating products, preparing and serving food items, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and greet customers as they enter the location
  • Maintain a clean and healthy work environment according to company standards
  • Operate the point-of-sale system and other available equipment
  • Accept money and provide change to customers
  • Assist customers with questions or price discrepancies
  • Process returns and exchanges according to store policy
  • Bag, box, and wrap purchased items
  • Prepares and serves food items such as pizza, ice cream orders, and other items, as required
  • Assist in replenishing and rotating products including coolers and/or freezers, as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
  • Customer service and sales experience is preferred, but not required
  • Comprehend and perform basic mathematical skills
  • Understand and perform basic computer and point-of-sale skills
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires prolonged standing and walking throughout the assigned shift. You must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds constantly and up to 40 pounds occasionally. You may need to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
