Job Summary

Nuclear Fuel Services is seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist to join our team. As an Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and calibrating plant equipment to ensure continuous plant operations and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate plant equipment to ensure continuous plant operations and production requirements.
  • Work from wiring diagrams, drawings, electrical and electronic tools, gages, calibrating and testing equipment.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including motors and generators, transformers, rectifiers, electronic controls and regulators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues and improve plant operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electronics and electrical systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in electronics or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics or electrical systems maintenance and repair.
  • Understanding of Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI, VFD, Seimens and Faunc controls.
  • Experience with Machine Tools, including CNC and welding equipment.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Physical ability to climb to any height and pass all quality control tests and other training classes as required.
