We are seeking a highly motivated laboratory scientist to join our team in Groton, CT. As a Genetic Toxicology Scientist, you will be part of a dynamic team that conducts in vitro and in vivo genetic toxicology studies to support drug discovery and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct next-generation sequencing (NGS) experiments and cell biology-based work to identify genotoxic compounds.
  • Process and analyze data to inform scientific understanding and drive technical expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with peers and leaders to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience or Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience in a biology laboratory.
  • Proven expertise in automation, cell culture, and molecular techniques.
  • Ability to respond effectively to scientific challenges and apply rigorous approaches to work.
  • Self-awareness and willingness to seek input from others on ideas and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in automation protocol development and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in next-generation sequencing (sequencing library preparation and data analysis).
  • Experience in high-throughput assays.
