Nurse Care Specialist

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate resident needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and other caregivers.
- Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care plans, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
- Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing, with multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
