As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Avera Mary House Long Term Care, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team built on teamwork, compassion, and the goal of Moving Health Forward for our patients. You will work alongside nurses and other professionals who are passionate about creating a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport residents, bathe and dress, comb hair, clean teeth, and care for nails.
  • Make beds, feed residents, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • May take and record temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
  • Keep record of resident's food intake and output.
  • Answer call lights and deliver messages.

Requirements:

  • CNA certificate within 4 months of hire.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
  • Speak and understand English.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Nurse assistant experience helpful.
  • Training is provided.

Work Schedule:

  • Day/Evening Shifts: 2:00pm-10:30pm; 72 hours every 2 weeks
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation
  • Occasional call time

Compensation:

The hourly range for this position is $18.25 - $24.00 per hour, dependent upon experience.
