Job Summary and Qualifications
  1. Obtains quality radiographs of patients in an acceptable timeframe.
  2. Complies with radiation safety guidelines and operates radiographic equipment safely.
  3. Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations.
  4. Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner and always identifies patients utilizing the proper protocol.
  5. Prepares examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  6. Assists the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and all types of care to the patient with supervision of a registered Diagnostic Technologist.
  7. Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images with assistance of a registered Diagnostic Technologist.
  8. Works under indirect supervision of a registered Diagnostic Technologist.
  9. Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties.
