Your Responsibilities:
  • Solicit and secure mortgage business through established relationships and referrals.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards in all loan origination activities.
  • Conduct interviews with potential borrowers to assess their needs and gather relevant financial information.
  • Assist clients in understanding various loan options and interest rates, managing the rate-lock process as needed.
  • Prepare and send initial disclosures to clients and utilize automated underwriting systems effectively.
  • Coordinate appraisal orders and title searches, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained.
  • Maintain communication with clients throughout the loan process, collaborating with processors to ensure smooth closings.
  • Originate residential home loans with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications:
  • A college degree with a minimum of 4 years in mortgage lending, including experience in residential construction or related fields.
  • Combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage lending practices, processing, credit analysis, and relevant regulations.
  • Proven ability to successfully solicit loans and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working independently in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficiency in various computer software, including mortgage-specific applications.
