About the Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the Accounting function at CF Industries Employee Services LLC. The incumbent will lead the development and implementation of accounting systems, internal controls, and process improvements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement accounting strategies to support business objectives
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the Accounting team to ensure effective execution of accounting processes
  • Accounting Systems and Internal Controls
    • Design, implement, and maintain accounting systems and internal controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Process Improvement and Analysis
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
    • Perform financial analysis and provide insights to senior management to inform business decisions
  • Team Management and Development
    • Lead and develop a high-performing Accounting team to ensure effective execution of accounting processes
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
    • CPA certification and/or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience
    • 15-20 years of diversified accounting experience with a minimum of 10 years in a supervisory capacity
    • Experience with automated accounting systems, internal controls, and accounting procedures
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights to senior management
