Job Summary:The Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with life-threatening injuries or illnesses. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with life-threatening injuries or illnesses.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
- Strong critical thinking skills and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, and perform tasks that require pushing, pulling, and bending.
