Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at ITW Shakeproof. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving raw materials, products, and equipment throughout the facility, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to production areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Move raw materials, products, and equipment to designated areas using industrial trucks, forklifts, and other equipment.
  • Count, weigh, and record inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Operate computerized systems to track inventory, manage orders, and perform other administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth material flow and minimize delays.
  • Perform daily maintenance and inspections on equipment and facilities to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material handling processes and improve overall productivity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a plant/warehouse setting, with a focus on material handling and inventory management.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate computerized systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
