Position Overview

The primary objective of the Regional Sales Representative (RSR) is to drive performance that aligns with the strategic objectives of the organization. A proactive approach combined with a competitive spirit and the ability to maintain focus on outcomes amidst evolving circumstances are essential for success in this role at Expeditors.

Role Responsibilities

The RSR coordinates the engagement of various stakeholders in our sales process to ensure consistent revenue generation from new customers for our district office and the broader Expeditors network. The work environment is dynamic, offering opportunities for growth, recognition, and rewards based on business achievements. This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Performance Indicators

Successful Regional Sales Representatives are expected to:
  • Manage a designated territory with comprehensive knowledge of potential clients and competitors.
  • Ensure timely updates in our Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Foster customer and branch relationships while collaborating with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management teams.
  • Contribute to the development of tailored solutions for customers' logistics requirements, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing necessary documentation.
  • Attend training and development sessions to enhance sales skills and stay updated on Expeditors' products and services.
  • Engage with local trade organizations as directed by the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics sales is required.
