Job Summary
MelroseWakefield Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing diagnostic imaging services to our patients, working closely with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, in accordance with physician orders.
- Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques.
Requirements
- Graduation from an AHA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Licensure by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health/Radiation Control Program.
- CPR certification.
- At least two years of directly related experience in a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with portable X-ray machines and other imaging equipment.
- Ability to lift 30-35 pounds with assistance.
- Manual dexterity to operate radiographic equipment.
