Everything you and your family need, right in your neighborhood to be your best healthy.Job DescriptionUnder the direction of the Manager, performs a wide variety of duties to provide diagnostic Radiologic services to hospital patients, both in-patient and out-patient, in accordance with physicians orders.QualificationsEDUCATION:Graduation from an AHA approved school of Radiologic technology. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must be licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health/Radiation Control Program.CPR certification required.EXPERIENCE:Requires two years directly related student experience to become proficient in all duties performedSKILLS/ABILITIES:Ability to manage physically aggressive patientsAbility to transport patients from wheelchair or patient slide board to tableAbility to move portable x-ray machine to examination siteAbility to lift 30-35 pounds with assistance using good mechanical body positionAbility to wear protective lead aprons and lead gloves during examinationsAbility to perform tasks for a long period of time, i.e. special proceduresManual dexterity to operate radiographic equipment Tufts Medicine is a leading integrated health system bringing together the best of academic and community healthcare to deliver exceptional, connected and accessible care experiences to consumers across Massachusetts.
