We are seeking a skilled Front End Software Developer to join our team at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in developing secure cloud-based applications that support global missions.

As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, gather user insights, and lead efforts to redesign and optimize applications for improved user experience and workflow efficiency.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 9 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 7 years of professional experience with a Master's degree or equivalent
  • 5 years of professional experience with a PhD or equivalent
  • Additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments
  • Strong background in object-oriented programming languages
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities in ambiguous scenarios
  • Self-starter with a passion for learning and adapting to new technologies

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with programming languages such as Ruby, Java, or Python
  • Experience with deploying secure web applications on a Linux infrastructure
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and OpenShift
  • Experience developing micro-services and APIs
  • Implement APIs based on architectural framework and guidelines
  • Knowledge of code development, deployment practices, and version control
  • Exposure to cloud architectures (e.g., AWS EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, Elastic Search)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum) using continuous integration and delivery tools
  • Ability to capture user issues and feedback
  • Ability to create sustainable processes

Summary Pay Range:
