Pet Host Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Pet Host. As a Pet Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our pet parents and their furry friends. Your primary duties will include greeting clients, handling check-in and check-out procedures, making boarding reservations, and selling activity packages and daycare services. You will also be responsible for interacting with clients, answering phone calls, and responding to emails. Additionally, you will be required to maintain accurate records, manage cash and credit transactions, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to pet parents and their pets
  • Handle check-in and check-out procedures, including processing payments and handling client inquiries
  • Make boarding reservations and sell activity packages and daycare services
  • Interact with clients, answer phone calls, and respond to emails
  • Maintain accurate records, including client and pet information
  • Manage cash and credit transactions, including processing payments and handling client inquiries
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
