Job Title: Commission Accountant

Job Summary:

Kuros Biosciences is seeking a highly skilled Commission Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and commission management, with experience in accurately coding and managing sales commission processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and analyze commission reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, adhering to contracts and company policies.
  • Review and verify contracts to monitor and analyze all aspects of commission-based compensation.
  • Prepare and communicate commission statement results and recommend modifications in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Accurately calculate commissions, code and input data into Excel spreadsheets for commission calculations.
  • Explain commission calculations and answer questions related to payouts, including timing, form of payout, commission percentages, etc.
  • Maintain organized records of all processed forms and commission calculations.
  • Communicate effectively with plan participants, including internal and external sales teams, addressing their questions.
  • Perform analyses of commission disputes, identify, research, and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit requirements.
  • Perform accurate and detailed audits of commission statements in accordance with industry standards and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • 2 or more years of experience in commission accounting, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Understanding of commission structures and calculations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
