Job Overview

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences (ADS) is in search of a Senior GEOINT Systems Engineer who can operate independently without reliance on junior personnel. The selected candidate must possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility to commence employment. This role supports the 402d Software Engineering Group. All tasks will be conducted on-site. Remote work is not an option for this position. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled and experienced (Senior/SME level), capable of effective communication (both written and verbal), demonstrating strong interpersonal abilities, self-driven, and innovative in a dynamic work environment.

Work Schedule

  • Facilities operate from 6am to 6pm - collaborate with leadership to establish your working hours.
  • Flexible hours are available during the bi-weekly pay cycle - minimize the use of PTO for appointments.
  • A compressed work schedule may be offered based on leadership discretion (options include 4/10 or 9/80 schedules).

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer/Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Security+ CE certification is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) applications and systems.
  • Proficient in installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, GEOINT application software, and system management tools, with troubleshooting experience in Linux environments.
  • Proven ability to ensure optimal system availability; monitor and assess application performance for potential issues, identify solutions, and collaborate with developers for implementation.
  • Experience providing 2nd and/or 3rd level support.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Puppet Enterprise, Ansible, and scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Proficient in the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira, BitBucket, Nexus, and Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies, including VMware.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or MS Azure.
  • Ability to perform at a Senior/SME level with minimal assistance from junior staff.
