Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school district near Gresham, Oregon. As a full-time SLP, you will work with students to assess and diagnose speech and language disorders, develop and implement individualized education plans, and provide direct therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
- Educate and support parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's communication development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
- Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology and special education.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Oregon licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with children is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
