Key Responsibilities:

  • Drill, install high-strength bolts, and grind steel components
  • Produce fillet and groove welds using the SMAW, SAW, and FCAW processes
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage and disposal of materials
  • Use proper safety equipment to ensure surfaces are adequately prepared for all operations
  • Coordinate with shop supervisor and other personnel to complete work orders efficiently, on time, and with top-notch quality

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Great attendance to learn and grow your skills
  • Commitment to the attendance policy and procedures
  • 1+ year of fabrication or welding experience a plus
  • Commitment to work safety and actively participating in our safety culture
  • Quality, accuracy, thoroughness, and reliability of work performed

Compensation: $22.67-$25.69 hourly wage

Work Environment: Work performed indoors in a large warehouse or outside in all weather conditions. Regular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, and other possible hazardous conditions. Safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots are required.
