Position Overview:

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the design, execution, and oversight of comprehensive IT initiatives that align with corporate objectives. This role requires advanced consulting skills and a deep understanding of technical processes, enabling the development of innovative solutions to intricate challenges. The Project Manager will work autonomously while providing mentorship and guidance to team members.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Over 5 years of experience in managing IT or Cybersecurity projects.
  • Proven track record in overseeing large-scale Department of Defense network implementations.
  • Experience in leading teams, managing resources, and ensuring timely delivery of project objectives.
  • Ability to provide clear direction and support to project teams.
  • Skilled in process mapping and identifying efficiencies within workflows.
  • Expertise in managing timelines and tasks related to project implementations and operations.
  • Possession of a Secret security clearance.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, and PowerBI.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining project documentation, including plans, milestone charts, and roadmaps.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is advantageous.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

The salary for this position is influenced by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The anticipated compensation range for this role is between $84,600.00 and $193,000.00 annually. This range represents the typical salary for this position and is part of Booz Allen's overall compensation structure.

Work Environment:

Our culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. Depending on the position's classification, employees may work from a Booz Allen facility or client site as required.
