We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Cardiac Medical Unit team at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery. As a valued member of our healthcare family, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver evidence-based care to patients in a fast-paced Cardiac Medical Unit environment
- Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed by the RN or physician
- Perform lab and procedural tests within the LPN scope of practice, after demonstrating competency
- Document patient care in a timely and thorough manner
- Serve as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to ensure quality patient care
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) licensure
- Vocational School Graduate
