Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Position patients and coils on the table to ensure accurate and safe scanning
  • Inject contrast media as required and set technical parameters for optimal image quality
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during scanning procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements:
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
