Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist for a travel position in Fargo, North Dakota.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and energetic MRI Technologist who can support a friendly, positive, and professional environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including placing specified coils close to the area of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.

Candidates must possess excellent efficiency, attention to detail, and a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Being compassionate and sensitive is a prerequisite for this profession.

Requirements
  • Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in required state.
  • BLS.
  • Must be fully proficient in MRI and have knowledge of required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
