Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Development Specialist to join our team at Equus Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet regularly with assigned students to discuss their progress and provide guidance and support.
  • Manage student incidents in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring the well-being of all students.
  • Document individual meetings and student interactions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate services and ensure seamless support for our students.
  • Participate in events and activities that promote professional development and model positive behaviors for our students.
  • Ensure student folders are complete and up-to-date, reflecting their progress towards both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Submit accurate and timely reports, including medical and AWOL removal logs, to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Conduct regular dorm inspections to maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college in Human Services preferred.
  • Related experience and/or training; one to three months preferred.
