SUMMARY
Under the guidance of the Tax Supervisor, the primary role involves the preparation and/or review of U.S. federal and international income tax returns.

Additional responsibilities encompass support with tax research, IRS audits, various special projects, and other income tax compliance matters, along with the preparation and analysis of certain quarterly and annual income tax provision accruals in alignment with ASC740.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Preparation of U.S. federal income tax returns, including tax workpapers for various subsidiaries included in the U.S. federal income tax consolidated return, as well as any additional income tax compliance as required (such as amended returns, tax refund claims, etc.), utilizing OneSource Income Tax software.
Preparation and/or assistance with the review of forms including 851, 4562, 4797, M-3, 8916-A, 1125-A, etc.
Preparation of the U.S. consolidated federal income tax return, including diagnostics clearance and e-filing using OneSource Income Tax software.
Assistance with the review of the U.S. consolidated federal income tax return, including separate company proformas.
Preparation of U.S. federal quarterly estimated tax and annual extension calculations.

Preparation and/or assistance with the review of U.S. international income tax compliance for all foreign entities, including GILTI, E&P, FDII, and foreign tax credits calculations.

Preparation and/or assistance with the review of U.S. international tax forms such as Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8991, 8992, and 8993.

Support the Tax Supervisor with tax research and planning concerning U.S. income tax and various cross-border tax issues.
Assist external consultants with scheduling interviews and gathering data for research and development tax credit calculations.
Support IRS income tax audits by collecting necessary documentation.
Assist with certain quarterly and annual income tax provision accruals related to U.S. federal and international income tax.
Contribute to various special projects, including tax automation initiatives.
Perform the core functions outlined in this job description.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Fully support the company's objectives of continuous improvement and operational excellence at both strategic and tactical levels, including reviewing areas of responsibility for improvement opportunities to initiate projects or communicate ideas to management, as well as active participation on project teams.

Ability to work remotely when not in the office.
Any additional tax responsibilities or tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required (Master's in Tax preferred); CPA Required (or CPA Candidate).
A minimum of 8+ years of relevant tax experience in a public accounting and/or corporate environment.
Advanced proficiency in OneSource Income Tax software is required.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.
Working knowledge of U.S. federal and international income tax laws is necessary.
Experience with SAP or other major accounting systems is preferred.
Alteryx experience is desirable.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills are crucial.
Must be a team player and willing to work overtime to meet deadlines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.

The employee may occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate, as it is generally based in an office setting.

Some tasks may require work in operating units, necessitating the use of required PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection. There may also be exposure to outside elements and the requirement to use stairs and elevators. Occasional travel, including air travel or auto travel, may be necessary.
