Job Overview

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of services to enhance existing support for homeless families, including comprehensive assessments, counseling, and referrals to government and community-based resources.
  • They will manage a team of client care coordinators, providing guidance, supervision, and support to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and implementing program goals, handling administrative issues, assigning cases, and ensuring timely completion of assessments and reports.

Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution and a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) certification in the state of New York upon hire or within three months.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in social services, counseling, crisis intervention, family services, preventive services, housing services, or homeless services, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge in areas such as child and adolescent development, parent-child relationships, mental health, and emotional/behavioral health.
