Job Summary:

Waste Connections is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Hampton, VA. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance services on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance services on diesel engines and related systems
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment
  • Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to diagnose and repair issues
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Monday-Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays
