Position Summary:


The Supervisor is tasked with fulfilling the requirements of the respective airline and ensuring compliance with their aircraft cleaning standards in line with the policies and procedures of JetStream Ground Services Inc. This role involves overseeing the cabin cleaning team, coordinating tasks, and fostering a collaborative environment among team members to enhance performance.



Responsibilities:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Guide, mentor, and support cabin service agents to promote teamwork and continuous improvement within the Cabin Cleaning team.

Manage adherence to shift schedules for all personnel.


Conduct daily briefings to relay essential information such as flight schedules, operational changes, crew assignments, and areas needing improvement.

Supervise team activities through inspections and compliance checks to ensure quality standards are met.

Ensure timely completion of tasks and report any procedural deviations to management.

Collaborate with management on performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as necessary.

Ensure compliance with uniform and safety policies among cabin service agents.

Monitor safety procedures, including conducting regular vehicle safety audits.

Ensure cabin service agents are informed of company policies and security regulations.

Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Complete vehicle and equipment inspection checklists.

Build and maintain positive relationships with airport partners and airline personnel.

Notify management of any irregular operations that may affect team members or customer service.

Maintain professionalism to keep cabin service agents motivated and focused on their tasks.

Check communications regularly and adhere to proper email etiquette.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Competencies:
Strong understanding of airline operations.

Knowledge of work schedules.

Familiarity with operational flow (hourly/daily activities).

Ability to cultivate effective relationships at all levels.

Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Required Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

1-2 years of relevant experience in cleaning environments such as homes, offices, or buildings.

Additional Requirements:
Possession of a valid US driver's license.

Successful completion of a drug screening and a comprehensive background check.

Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Able to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with team members as needed.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations.

Direct interaction with customers, airline staff, and team members to resolve issues as they arise.

Familiarity with various aircraft types and their specific cleaning requirements.

Physical Requirements:


The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is regularly required to:

Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

Reach and clean overhead areas.

Safely navigate stairs with or without carrying items.

Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Bend, stoop, and reach overhead repetitively.

Ascend and descend jet bridge stairs at various angles.

Occasionally push and pull.

Work Environment

This position operates in both a professional office setting and an outdoor airport ramp environment. Employees may be exposed to various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and noise. Availability for a flexible schedule is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
