About the Role
- Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of buildings and structures to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to complex engineering problems, utilizing your expertise in building construction and engineering principles.
- Collaborate with other licensed Professional Engineers, EITs, and technical team members to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide clear, concise reports and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying your knowledge and skills to drive innovation and excellence in our services.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of practical experience as a licensed Professional Engineer.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, or geotechnical preferred).
- Construction management/project management experience.
- Demonstrated interest in building construction and solving engineering problems.
- A lifelong learning orientation and enthusiasm for the work.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Organized and strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or in teams.
- Strong computer skills.
- Model personal excellence, integrity, and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with due diligence inspections, property condition assessments, environmental site assessments, capital needs assessments, community reserve studies, water intrusion, stucco evaluation, erosion control and drainage, structural evaluations, bid specifications, energy and sustainability studies, ADA and fire/life safety, and asphalt.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
