Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the tech and product ops delivery portfolio, with a clear articulation of outcomes based on work delivered.
  • Lead demand and capacity management, including planning processes and alignment of priorities to the delivery portfolio.
  • Establish reporting and scorecards, using tools and data to provide proactive insights.
  • Set up and run regular cadence with stakeholders and leaders to report program/portfolio status and apprise management of issues requiring resolution.
  • Provide direct leadership, coaching, and motivation to program teams to ensure consistent disciplines are implemented for managing scope, schedule, budgets, communication, and risks of major projects.
  • Establish annual budgets for the portfolio and oversee financial management of all projects, ensuring alignment with budgets and outcomes.
  • Implement industry-leading program management best practices.
  • Create an environment of cross-functional collaboration, transparency, and accountability for the team.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of program management experience in the tech industry, preferably with a background in software/SaaS or cloud platform.
  • Demonstrated track record of success building out PM best practices ground up, including processes, tools, templates, and governance models.
  • Data savvy, with the ability to ingest large data sets and build out dashboards and insights.
  • Experience leading portfolio management functions, including intake, planning, roadmap, delivery, and post-deployment.
  • Deep PM tools/tech experience required.
  • Capability mapping experience required.
  • Experience leading process design workshops with large groups preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Strategic mindset to envision the future and translate into tangible plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation.
  • Good listening skills and ability to be receptive to the ideas of others.
  • Demonstrable track record of managing and successfully delivering complex, enterprise-wide programs of increasing complexity and impact.
  • Strong leadership competencies, with proven ability to lead people through change, strategic thinking, and building great cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to impact, influence, and interact within various levels of an organization to achieve desired outcomes through building effective relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Sense of urgency to deliver new capabilities to the business, along with the ability to prioritize multiple and competing strategic priorities.
  • Experience in areas such as strategic planning, Agile, waterfall, project management principles.
  • Excellent consulting, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
